Activities

Launched in 2018 by UNHCR and INTERSOS, the PartecipAzione programme aims to support the integration, social cohesion and participation of refugees and asylum seekers through empowerment and capacity building. In six years, PartecipAzione has supported the growth of 60 associations. The programme provides associations with funding and technical support in project implementation, high-level training, individualised coaching, and opportunities for networking and collaboration at local and national levels.

Throughout 2023:

• Eight organizations were selected to receive technical and financial support, with approximately €6,000 allocated for the implementation of their project activities.
• Three workshops and 11 online training sessions were conducted, involving 155 participants, including 119 refugees and asylum seekers.
• An additional 36 organizations received materials, sponsorships, and various forms of support.
• Fifty-nine individual coaching sessions were provided to 25 organizations.
